Korean artist Do Ho Suh has created a massive fabric sculpture that’s a life-size home within a home.
RICHARD NEUTRA, EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR OF THE KAUFMANN HOUSE, PALM SPRINGS, CA, 1947
Edgar Kaufmann, who commissioned Wright’s Fallingwater House in 1929, turned to Neutra for his home in California with the intention of having a different and lighter building. The architect designed a building with arms that branch out from a fireplace in the center and features modular structures. The living space is completely open, communicating freely with the lawn and pool. (Paolo Favole)
